Do You Have a Texturizer? #naturalhair

Today for the first time I had someone approach me and asked “Your hair has a texturizer right?” I was shocked because although my hair wasn’t so defined I didn’t think it looked too hott.

I am pretty sure many have thought my natural hair is processed with a texturizer but I doubt people gave it too much thought.

Today was one of the few moments in my life were i felt actually honored for having Natural hair. I am not saying this to disregard my natural hair or put it down, but after answering a question like that… I couldn’t help but smile! I have always loved having Natural hair and i have always done it for myself not to gain attention of other’s eyes, so this experience was a joy.

I immediately started to answer hair questions and probably even persuaded the person to stop using a texturizer due to my lack of using texturizer.

So many people believe that they don’t have a natural curl pattern but indeed they do. It just takes time to learn your hair and what products work best for you! There are many who conform to using a texturizer or other harsh chemical texture altering features to receive curls when in fact their natural hair is capable of doing so without a processing chemical. SAY NO TO SCURL OR JERRICURLS!

Listed below are just a few items I use to have my hair curl pattern refined and defined!

  • Giovanni Direct Leave In
  • Shea Moisture curling Smoothie
  • Kinky Curly Curling Custard
  • Blended beauty Cutie Silky Swirls

Best of all! These arn’t GELS!
