"Meet Cia"

Hey love, I’m Cia—a licensed therapist, trauma-informed coach, workshop facilitator, speaker, and author. But more than that, I’m a woman who knows what it feels like to smile in public while breaking inside.

My journey through trauma, faith, and healing has taught me this: success doesn’t cancel out pain, and God doesn’t waste our scars.

What Made Me Decide to become a Therapist?

Truthfully? I didn’t always want to be a therapist.

Growing up, I dreamed of being an editorial writer. I wanted to craft words that moved people, made them think, and told the truth others were afraid to say. But God had a different way of using my voice.

I migrated to the U.S. carrying bold dreams and quiet struggles. In my tight-knit family, love was present, but so were blurred boundaries. There were unspoken expectations, emotional enmeshment, and loyalty that sometimes left no room to breathe. I witnessed how poor boundaries, even with good intentions, could tear walls down in ways that left people exposed, wounded, and misunderstood.

One day, a friend told me about a counseling program and said, “You should do this.” I didn’t ask many questions. I just followed her suggestion, not knowing that path would awaken something in me. What started as blind obedience turned into divine alignment.

Becoming a therapist helped me understand what was never modeled, grieve what was lost, and hold space for others to do the same. Today, I combine clinical wisdom with lived experience to help people, especially women of color, heal their hidden wounds, reclaim their voice, and build relationships that protect their peace.

My Story

I began this work because I was the woman who looked accomplished on the outside but felt disconnected, anxious, and overwhelmed on the inside. Healing changed my life, my marriage, and my relationship with God. Today, I help high-achieving women do the same.

As a wife, mom of three, faith-first believer, and licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), I bring both clinical tools and Christ-centered compassion to the healing journey. Whether you’re in leadership, ministry, entrepreneurship, or simply navigating a new season of life, I’m here to help you reconnect with peace, clarity, and healthy relationships.

about their experiences

I can't say enough about how amazing Felicia is. She dosen't listen to respond, she listens to understand. And once she fully understands, she responds in a way that brings clarity to the situation. She is compassionate, kind and very easy to open up to. She is truly great at what she does and i am so greatful for her.

I used to think I was addicted to toxic men, but I really just needed to realize how comfortable I was in familiar situations. You've helped me understand my patterns and I'm on my way to healthier dating.

Alright so boom.... Watching and re-watching the video about knowing our parts encouraged me to talk to mine. I remembered the tools that i went through with Felicia in the past and the names for my parts. I named a part that i hadn't faced until now and we all had a sister circle. it was very helpful and whenever i got lost i remember how i was cocched before on how to talk to them. By the end, I think my council of ladies (my parts) and i are on better terms right now. We'll see how this goes...
