Firstly I would like to apologize for the infrequent updates, life just got too real and some priorities had to be set. But have no fear, Cia is still here! I want to thank all of you who have reached out to ask about my well being. It makes me feel as if someone actually reads my foolishness *tear*. I will be straightening out my schedule to get NH back up and running. I miss Nearly Hair, and life just feels incomplete without it. After all I do pay for the domain and mama ain’t raise no fool (I will be getting my monies worth). In the meantime here are a few pics just to keep you updated on my hair ventures!

Yes loves, I straightened my hair again! But this time I had the professionals handle Toni. I am very pleased with the results I received. I was hesitant, I am not going to lie about that, however my reversion process was beautiful. I did not choose to do the beer treatment like last time to revert. Watch both videos to find out how I did it! Straight hair talk The reversion
Here it is guys, the third month update. My hair regimen is still the same:-frequent protein treatments– weekly deep conditioning-protective styles Tony is surely coming along
Well guys I am back at it. I’m on my weave movement. Yes that is right my weave movement. This is simply because I am too darn lazy to groom this full head of hair I have on my brain. The crazy part is, the weave is just as time consuming but I supposed I don’t allow myself to believe such things. I recently purchased the most inexpensive virgin hair you could ever find. Here are the pictures of Toni after the third week of recovery. Currently I have my hair in crochet braids as a protective style.Do you notice anymore curls popping? I do. Something is better than nothing.
Approximately 4 weeks ago, I opted to flat iron my hair for the 2nd time in 2012. The difference between the first instance and the last instance was the stylist. The first time I choose to conduct the flat ironing on my own with the Cortex titanium 450, but this time I was lazy. The end results were beautiful and lasted about two weeks. I used the same products as my initial flat iron experience, but choose to deep condition the night before unlike the first time. 6th Day HairI don’t quite understand what went wrong except for the probable overly high heat temperature used on my hair follicles. I suspect that the stylist (my friend) used a heat setting above 410 degrees which unhealthy for hair strands. After I washed out my hair I tried a beer treatment, and also deep conditioning and nothing worked. I am currently doing everything in my power to keep my remaining curls healthy, not that there are to too many tight curls left. I am making use of the curls I currently have with hopes that I can still maintain the healthy head of hair I aspire to continue to have. Week 1 CurlsFlat ironing is definitely like pregnancy. If you do not have proper protection, you could have a potential problem (or blessing if it was intended). I currently see my heat damage experience as both a blessing and a curse. It’s almost as if I am reliving my transitioning experience making it helpful for those who are going through the same predicament. I want you all to travel along with me on this road to healthy hair journey. As I learn how to handle heat damage hopefully I should be able to provide you guys with information needed to restore damaged hair. Here is my revert attempt: Have any of you experienced heat damage? How did you handle it?
