Free Hair products This month: Influenster has done it again! Influenster sent me box that included the best combination har system for African American Hair/ Ethnic Hair to review. This magical hair system was created by 11 Black Ph.D scientist who conducted two 25 hour research sessions which tested the products on clients and hairstylist.*clap clap clap*Well sisters, the research has paid off because this is by far the best system I have ever experienced at a drug store level. Pantene Gold Series Though this is not a full indepth review of the product I would love to share some of my rants and raves about the three piece system I was sent. The entire Pantene collection contains 7 items however I was just sent three of the 7 items to try. I will most definitely be scanning the internet for the remaining three because the products were just that great! Photo Credit: Amazon My influenster box included: Pantene Pro V Gold series Moisturizing ShampooPantene Pro V Gold series Moisture Boost Conditioner Pantene Pro V Gold series Hydrating Butter CremeAll of the products worked amazingly together and made my wash day a breeze. I wasn’t really a fan of the shampoo but after using the moisture boost conditioner, the shampoo was no longer a factor for me. The shampoo was quite drying and didn’t really have the wow factor. The Pantene Pro V Gold series Moisture boost conditioner provided AWESOME slip for detangling and and left my curls so shiny and soft. After I shampooed and washed out the conditioner I proceeded to use the Pantene Pro V Gold Series Hydrating Butter Creme and that provided a really nice hold and I felt completely in love! I usually stick to light weight leave ins because my hair has a tough time handling anything else, but this thick moisture rich creme is definitely an outlier and I will most certainly purchase it when I run out! My external skin care regimen has been great. I haven’t had any lazy makeup removal nights, astringents have been a holy grail product and moisture has been key for my skin renewal. As far as internal strategies for skin care…I have been lacking.Yes, I have been taking the works with water packets which haven’t been too far of a stretch from my normal food intake regimen however the actual foods I have been eating have not been the healthiest choices. This entire week my job has been providing free lunch, and if you all know my I can never say no to free. Of course with most companies free food consists of the chips and the cookies and low and behold I have indulged in the chips and the cookies. My skin is super sensitive to the types of foods I put in my body so all the fatty oils and excess cookies cause my face to breakout. I will have to say that although my breakouts were minute, they were not as bad as previous breakouts. I think I can contribute my mild breakout instead of the severe breakout because of the Works with Water products. Below you will find the pictures of both sides of my face. Can you see any differences? (View discretion advised lol) Day 2 Day 6 I definitely feel that by day 5 my skin did begin to feel more smooth but I can still see the scars. My overall experience with Lace Xclusive has been nothing less than great! It has been 2 months now, and after swimming (lake and chlorine), exercising, bleaching and dying, the hair quality has remained true. CWK Straight Plates-Straighten Hair No Heat, I am a backer!

A month ago, in May, my best friend notified me about a new tool that is soon to hit the market in August. Of course I was interested because he told me it was a straightening tool, and no I ain’t afraid of no heat! Little did I know that this tool was heat free!So after I did a little research I was sold. I became a backer for the CWK straight plates. God has blessed me with money however not so much to be a top contributor. I contributed $45 to the campaign and yes the notion to start the production of these plates have left the base.I am so excited for what is to come of these products, the prototype looks amazing.I think her kickstarter page explains better than I could ever do so check out the full details here! A perk to be a backer is that I get to get a set of the plates before it hits shelves, so trust me, a review is to come in a couple months. What do you ladies, or men think? Would you purchase it? So what’s the latest rave??My obsession with my kinky curly hair! No it is not the Aliexpress hair anymore but its a review of Bigchophair.com corkscrew curl.The website has various hair patterns that match different hair types so that no head is “left behind” or “without”. Thus far I am in love with this hair! The only downfall is the shedding which I did seal, and the knotty frayed ends. But that’s virgin hair for you. For more information check the videos below!

The young lady featured in these photos gave her honest input on how well the Shea moisture color system worked for her. Read her statements below. The Shea Moisture Color System was wonderful. It was not drying at all. I actually thought my curls looked the best I’d ever seen them after the application of the hair color. The color is sometimes difficult to see indoors but when the sun or bright light hits the color is very vibrant. I did notice the next time I washed my hair some of the color rinsed out but I didn’t notice a lack of color once my hair was dried and styled. I haven’t had any of the dye come off on my clothes, thank GOD! Overall I would definitely use this product again! Note: After the second application of the shea moisture color system her curl pattern remained in tact and the color was more noticeable. Please keep in mind if your color choice from the the line is significantly lighter than your hair color then it is wise to keep the color in your hair longer before washing.
