As I went through my daily blog reads, Elle had shocking news for me! It turns out that shea butter is not a moisturizer… and now that i think about it.. its a total Duh!!! Shea Butter has absolutely no water. It is a natural product that is drained to make into an oil. And most people use shea butter to seal ends and retain moisture. Of course you can only retain moisture on already moisturized hair.
